Bamboo

Bamboo is becoming increasingly popular with a lot of newer varieties that come in a range of sizes. Most bamboo plants that are sold in nurseries now are clumping varieties, which means that they are not invasive, unlike the older varieties that spread via runners. Bamboo is a quick-growing plant that tolerates sun or shade which makes it great for screening difficult sites. Its lush, delicate-looking foliage adds an instant hit of calming greenery in courtyard areas and it is also great for pots.
