Program for October Garden Class
October 14th and 28th from 12:30pm to 4pm - program is the same in both classes, just choose one date
Introduction to class (this month we talk about gardening in November)
1. No dig gardens and more.
2. Let's identify all the insects at the school over the next twelve months:
Beetles.
3. Sunlight in the garden.
4. Building retaining walls.
5. Pumpkins.
6. Who's listening in class (names and pictures) (Bob's Corner) Discussions on what you are doing or any problems.
7. Richard's top ten tips in the garden this month.
8. Annuals for spring.
9. Best vegies to plant this month.
Tea break (coffee, tea and juice with cakes and biscuits supplied)
10. Growing plants from seed.
11. Formal gardens.
12. When to water and for how long.
13. Summer herbs.
14. What are we going to propagate this month, from seed, division and cuttings? (You get to keep what you propagate) Free Plants

Please note, there is now a cancellation fee of $20 paid by a bond, you have to give me 24 hrs notice to keep your bond, cancelation on the day means you will lose your bond and have to pay it again as a lot of time goes into having these classes so if you want your notes sent out before class you have to pay the bond otherwise no notes.
