Hardy deciduous small tree with attractive bark and clusters of small crepe-like flowers appearing in summer. Comes in a range of colours, including red, pink, mauve and white.
Height: 3-7m.
Width: 3-4m.
Position: Full sun or part shade.
Flowers: Crepe-like flowers appearing in summer. Available in a range of colours.
Hardiness: Highly tolerant of heat, drought, pollution, wind, second line salt tolerant, moderately cold tolerant.
Care: Can be pollarded (pruned back each year in winter), or left as is for a more natural look.
