Position: Full sun or part shade. Foliage will take on a more greenish gold hue if grown in shade.
Flowers: Small purple flowers on spikes in spring, followed by inedible orange berries.
Hardiness: Drought, heat and wind tolerant. Mildly salt tolerant. Not frost tolerant.
Care: Prune after flowering to maintain compact habit. Can be clipped into a hedge.
