A very hardy, vigorous native vine with glossy green leaves that is also suitable for use as a groundcover. Bears large yellow flowers appear in spring and summer but also spot flowers year round.
Height: depends on supporting structure.
Width: several metres.
Position: Flowers best in full sun but will also tolerate shady sites well. Prefers well-drained sites.
Flowers: large golden yellow flowers in spring and summer but also spot flowering throughout the year.
Hardiness: Hardy to coastal conditions including salt and wind, moderately frost hardy, tolerates drought and pollution well.
Care: Tip pruning will encourage a bushy habit. Needs a supporting structure such as a trellis if used as a climber.
