Large shrub or small native tree with very soft, silvery green foliage and small, orange-red tubular flowers appearing over most of the year. These flowers attract native birds. Grown for its attractive foliage colour and texture. Can be used as an alternative Christmas tree if placed in a pot.
Height: 2-5m.
Width: 1-2m.
Position:Prefers full sun in a well-drained position, although will tolerate part shade.
Flowers: Small orange-red tubular flowers spot flowering throughout the year.
Hardiness: Salt and drought tolerant.
Care: Take care not to overwater. Adenanthos spp. do not like overly humid conditions so ensure good air circulation around the plant.
