A mat-forming groundcover with very small green leaves and dainty white star-shaped flowers. Great lawn substitute for between pavers as will tolerate light foot traffic. There is also a purple-flowering form available.
Height: 1-5cm.
Width: Spreading.
Position: Full sun or part shade.
Flowers: Small white or purple star-shaped flowers appearing over the warmer months.
Hardiness: Frost-tender. Tolerates moist sites and part shade.
Care: Can take over if not adequately contained. Use root barriers or garden edging where you don't want it spreading.
