Vigorous, hardy deciduous climbing plant with beautiful mauve flowers in spring.
Height: several metres.

Position: Full sun.
Flowers: Large pendulous clusters of mauve flowers in spring.
Hardiness: Frost hardy, drought hardy once established.
Care: Take care when pruning; leave any hard pruning till just after flowering, and tip prune thereafter when necessary until the following spring so as not to hinder flower production.
